Our 2018 Volkswagen T6 Highline LWB DSG automatic — named after our first border collie.
We bought Daisy shortly after having our first child and took her on a European trip down to Gibraltar. She's been thoughtfully converted and carefully upgraded ever since, to give couples and families a comfortable, easy-to-drive campervan for weekends away, coastal escapes, family holidays and longer road trips through the UK or Europe.
Daisy has five belted travelling seats and sleeps up to four — particularly well suited to two adults and two children.
Approximately 185 × 110cm — a cosy bed up in the pop-top, ideal for kids or a second couple.
Approximately 186 × 112cm — the rear RIB seat converts into a comfortable double bed downstairs.
Both beds come with Duvalay memory-foam mattress toppers and fresh fitted sheets as standard — just bring duvets or sleeping bags and pillows. Or add our bedding bundle (+£45) and we'll make up the downstairs bed for you.
At just under two metres high, Daisy suits many height-restricted car parks, ferries and European toll lanes, subject to individual operator restrictions.
Mattress toppers and fitted sheets are included on both beds. You'll need to bring food, towels, personal belongings, and duvets or sleeping bags and pillows — unless you add the bedding bundle.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement — up to two dogs can travel with you, subject to a £45 dog-friendly cleaning supplement. Please don't leave dogs unattended inside Daisy, and bring suitable beds or covers to protect the seats and sleeping areas.
Before you leave, we'll walk you through the pop-top roof, beds, heater, electrics, water system and kitchen equipment — plus simple WhatsApp video guides you can refer back to on the road. We're always happy to help first-time campervan travellers feel confident before setting off.
